About Davanti Tyres

Davanti is a new name in the tyre industry, but although a young company it is one with big ambitions and is backing them up with products which are rapidly gaining ground in the marketplace. The company launched its first tyre in 2015 but has already developed run flat tyres, winter tyres, SUV tyres, van tyres and even ultra durable tyres for commercial cars such as taxis with the DX420 tread.

It has a retail network in 35 countries and to raise awareness of the brand in the UK, it signed a three year partnership deal with Everton F.C. Davanti is a UK-based company with its head office in Newton-le-Willows, but after careful analysis of facilities it chose China as its production hub.

Here, its tyres are produced in a factory so advanced that Sean Maddocks, Davanti’s sales director who has spent years in the tyre industry at senior levels, described it as `knocking spots off’ some European plants. The tyres are produced by robots which are controlled by AI (artificial intelligence) so sophisticated that if a flaw is detected at any stage they will shut down, so quality control is guaranteed. So confident is Davanti that the tyres are as well made as possible that it offers a guarantee, saying `We’ll replace any Davanti tyre that is found to be defective due to the manufacturing process or materials used. Any tyre with unrepairable damage that results from normal road use will be replaced.’

Popular Davanti Tyres

DX740

This is an SUV tyre which has been optimised for a fuel efficient, smooth and comfortable drive rather than exciting performance (there are other tyres for that). The DX740 offers the optimum balance of wet and dry grip, with a smooth, comfortable and quiet drive.

DX440

This is one of Davanti’s van tyres and is built to be strong and long lasting. It has the strength to cope with the weight of a load in the back but also to cover rough ground on a building site, for example, without being damaged or punctured. Davanti says it does that without compromising handling or comfort.

WINTOURA

A winter tyre for smaller and mid-size cars and gives greater grip, therefore safer on cold, slippery roads. The wide grooves and lateral channels disperse water and numerous zig-zag sipes cut into snow for better traction when accelerating or braking. Angled tread block edges and varying pitch sizes reduce noise and because the carcass is quite flexible it gives a more comfortable ride.
